I am sorry but from the brief research that I have found so far between 1947 and 1957 is that in the 1950 season, they lost 8 in a row with losses in Rounds 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 so no matter what spin and death riding of the club etc. that you want to keep spewing out, until they reach an 8 in a row losing streak, this year, they have NOT achieved the club's worst ever losing streak.

Well okay, it's actually 8 !! Thank you for that, because I've been claiming 7 everywhere. That's my bad, I relied upon a Fox article, and didn't substantiate the figures ! Hey well, at least we aren't there yet.

I was confident we'd get out of the streak against the Dogs. I put $100 dollars on us to do that. At 16-0 up I felt for sure it was our week, but alas.

Well, good. Least I don't have to think it's the worst ever all off season !

Very impressed with Vaega & Weekes - look very comfortable playing NRL. It's unfortunate they haven't played more games this year. Schuster didn't play many minutes - also underplayed his hand - seemed hampered by injury. Burbo played okay, but lacks pace. In future, Weekes would be a better option in the centres than him (IMO).

Weekes had an ok game given his first game at FB in 1 st grade and the weather. I am as sh*tty as we all are about the end of season melt down but after watching the replay again this morning, I can't be that hard on Weekes. Sure, he dropped the last kick that led to the feild goal but players with more experience than him have dropped the Burton kicks. Vaega, I thought was a bit ordinary compared to last week so not so sure about him but Weekes I think still has something to work on.
