I thought our defence, particularly against repeat sets, did look a little better. First Dogs try was soft, got caught on the counter, but the other two came off kicks after multiple repeat sets. I'd still prefer we didn't have to defend so many repeat sets though.

Happy to get a win and some good positives like Harper, Funa Hoppa finding his feet. Some good defence show at times when under the pump but let down at others and not consistent throughout the game.

The biggest negative for me personally and I don't knock DCE but composure and game direction is way off specially when in front and needed to rest and settle the team with a few kicks to touch in the closing stages. Some decisions made were crazy.
Yes he tried his guts out put on the trys and generally did well but we desperately need a composed director of play out there.

Any case a win is better than a loss and you can only play what's is in front of you.
At least the realist and not the pessimist won out this game

Don't know if this was mentioned sufficiently at the time, but we broke the ANZ hoodoo - first win since 2013 after 11 straight losses at the ground!

Which is a good thing. Plus we broke a 6 game losing streak. We beat a lowly team and the performance was patchy in parts, but will do a lot for the confidence. Which we'll need, as the Titans have been quite improved over the past month or 2.
