Brilliant win!

Can anyone explain to me where or when Crichton grounds the ball for his try?

Also how forward was mahoney’s dummy half pass in the Kikau try?
I didn’t think it was a try either at all but I watch on Kayo so I will replay ALOT of moments over and over and even slow mo (I reckon I would give the bunker a run for his money) but eventually you could see Crichton ground the ball (unfortunately)

I've always been a Crichton fan, but he blew that out of the water today when his true colours came through!

Yeah I’m a fan too because he is just such a classy player but he has no class. Pushing Ben T around is just weak.

God, I hope somebody asked Chricton how much he enjoyed his first loss to Manly after that game. Because it sure as f**k wouldn't have been as much as I enjoyed it.

He is an amazing player, one of the best in the NRL, but he carries on like a pork chop on the field sometimes. Even Jake had to have words🙂

Interesting, I've never seen Jake react like that to anyone let alone an origin team mate - was great to see - more C about you Jakey - love it!

Sadly his fingers got to the ball before Talau's arm did. There was the old cigarette paper in it, but it was a try. Not that it should have been in the first place because no way should Talau have been penalised for his hit on Connor Tracey. That penalty was far more about the reaction to Tracey staying down than it was to the tackle itself.

As an aside on that try ... Turbo couldn't (or wouldn't.....) dive for that ball.
I’m looking in slo mo on a big screen, he completely misses the ball. I can’t even. But I guess others are seeing something I can’t.

Big shout out to the many Sea Eagle supporters who went to the game today. Vastly outnumbered but big in voice, well done guys.
Man, I didn't have a Manly fan within 20 metres of me. It was pretty tough for a good chunk of the game. But when DCE got stuck into Curran right in front of me, I could see it also fired up the boys. It was massive in the context of the game. Mahoney did us a huge favour being a d*ck and Curren joining in.

I just have to work out how to get a seat in the Manly bay on Saturday. @:D

Saw some old familiar faces in the crowd. Good to DJ Spook with his latest sign, "Turbo Charged".
You just know how much they are loving being there live with the fellow Manly tribe belting out "Eagle Rock".
One of the most amazing shots was when Brooks and DCE put on their magic act play. The shot from behind which showed the skill, but also showed DCE running towards a wall of delirious Manly fans going nuts as he boots the ball in the air.

We need a headcount on all of them that went to make sure they’ve all come back alive, the amount of grubby comments from dog fans I’ve seen in comment sections of them threatening violence is 🤮
Yeah, I remember a Brookie game that we lost to them a while ago now. They were so abusive, even to women and children alike. Just as well we had security while people were filing out after the game.

Yeah, that try scoring play is best seen live, that's for sure. Love the way you've described it to us.

Would that be back when Todd (oh the irony) was running the Mulberries’ show, just after nabbing Hasler?

Well that was all about character.

Today we were up against things. Highly motivated Bulldogs team, hostile 50K crowd mostly against us. They were more aggressive, controlled the ruck and looked more dangerous for the first hour of this match and then they got nervous and started making errors and our guns did the clutch plays to snatch the win.

Far from their best but hung in there and gutsed it out and what I really loved is the last 15 minutes we saw big game management and made it hard for them.

Anything the team does now is a bonus. There is a massive opportunity v the Chooks who are down on troops and for Manly to win, they must start better and hang in there.

I felt the team grew today as a group, showed patience and determination and it is always lovely to beat the dirty dogs!!!

Yeah I learnt to be very hyper vigilant quickly as a young girl in the crowds and always alert my dad if I felt safe or uncomfortable so he could keep an extra eye out or move spots if needed. Its some of the comments/ threats I’ve seen on other social media including knives and guns that’s one step too far from just emotion and drinking ending up in a punch on.

Chez is often the one calming everyone down, as is one of the jobs of a captain. But every now and then you’ve got get down and dirty in defence of your mate. Loved this moment from Chez

Thanks Malcolm Fraser.

He was the one that opened the door, back in 1976.

Reminder if you see this on social media to not waste your time in the comments, all the bulldogs fans whinging DCE should of got 10 or miss a week or two but are conveniently forgetting about Curran striking first, fkn losers.
