After a win like that it's always good taking your time to leave and just taking in the enormity of the win. Were you in the Manly supporters section, you came through loud and clear on the TV.
Actually i wasn’t in the Manly bays. I was near them but i was with some doggies supporters so I thought it’d be better to go neutral. Still heaps of manly supporters around and we were yelling - LOUD!!!

Well played Manly, copped that loss fair and square. No excuses. Had a great time regardless even though I am dissapointed. However the future is looking bright for my team, always a Bulldog for life. Good luck in the finals, enjoy it
Over and out 👍
Good day @TJ55
You are very Gracious in defeat . You also are a Man of Quality and character who does not lower your standards with excuses .

No one expect your dogs to make the top 8 let alone achieve a home final
Your Dogs have overachieved and your club has had a good season

Our Manly had the better team and we did what we had to do and win with some brilliant match winning plays by our Brilliant players

Enjoy the off season and keep positive , happy and healthy

I was in the Members stand, 4th level on the halfway line. Surprisingly good vantage point as I'm not generally a fan of Olympic Stadium. There were three of us, plus a youngster. We were surrounded by Doggy supporters who were loud but not obnoxious. I reckon in total there may have been 4,000 or so Manly supporters in the ground. I wished I had been among the Beaches Brigade at ground level who could be clearly heard at times.
Apart from a 'difficult' exchange with a couple of Doggy fans 20 minutes after the final whistle I saw no trouble, just blank faces in blue and white livery.
I knew how they felt. Having watched Manly for 60+ years there have been plenty of times I've felt gutted when beaten in the dying stages of a match.

You reckon 4000? I would’ve said more - maybe 8-9k?? There were heaps scattered around the ground and when we scored the cheer was pretty loud. Whatever the number i think the idiots that say manly fans don’t travel would be eating their words today. Let’s give them another meal this weekend. Just got my tickets for Saturday night.

Don't wanna harp on about it, but just rewatched the game (I was at Accor last night).
How the fark was their first try awarded? Surely that was an obstruction from Xerri? He didn't run through the line at all.
Also, suss on the Crichton try as well, but I can live with that one.
Yep. I said live in the game day thread before the try was confirmed that I thought the first try should have been pulled up for that reason

Clear obstruction DCE was sliding across and Xerri ran on his outside shoulder and made full contact. They also scored 2 tries out of pure arse. The were lucky to get to 22 points.

Mahoney should have got sin binned the little ****ing weasel for his strike on Garrick.

Both of the major stadiums are difficult to get to for those of us who live on the insular peninsula. We chose to drive yesterday and found parking near the swimming centre @$35. Getting out was a struggle. But the feeling that comes with such an epic win makes the 2-hour commute worthwhile.
I feel for the Cronulla supporters who are playing next door to the Swans at the SCG which will certainly be a full house. I'd be surprised if Cronulla get more than 15,000.

Lehi’s slight frame was exposed yesterday, but boy oh boy, he is all class. He personifies exactly what Manly needs to grow into as a team; respond positively to adversity when things don’t go your way. I am so excited to see this kid as he physically grows over the next few years. Reminds me a little of Turbo when he first debuted a bit on the spindly side.

Vossy: “Tolu Koula…..and held up by the Canterbury defence. He’s got the speed, get him more involved. Tolu Koula.”

Just three tackles before that magic game sealer. 👏👏👏

Thanks Bozo, appreciate the words mate. Indeed we were written off from the start and hopefully it’s the start of an even bigger rebuild which would be to the disdain of many I can imagine, same to you good luck in the next game it’s certainly a large one!

Kudos to DCE yesterday. Many have been highly critical of his game management over the years (and rightly so)… yesterday he (and the team) showed exactly how to manage a game over the last 10 minutes. That was outstanding
100% true. Unfortunately, his game management and participation levels for the first 70 minutes was less than inspiring.

Watching replay. Crichton stays down, he's in a coma. Trainer shows great concern. Bullemore on report. Why wasn't Crichton made to go have 10 min HIA? He was very sprightly in the next 30 seconds once the penalty was awarded. He scores a try. Questionable try (yes I know)

Just rewatched the last fg attempt by Burton and whoever was trying to charge it down got very close to Burtons leg. If Burton was smart he could have put his leg out like Johnson did against Warriors and got a penalty in front
