Brisbane Double Header - Rnd 10 - Saturday 13 May 17.

Correct me if I am wrong but Manly have a decent record at Suncorp?
I've noticed the Broncos have been getting some really favourable calls this year.
Possibly the next NRL "fairytale" is Bennet ending Broncos premiership drought.
It's got to be better the the Eels winning it, right?
We have had some classic victories at Suncorp over the years.

The Next game V Bongos sat week is a massive game for our season. If we were to lose we will be out of the 8 due to the other games. The week after we have the titans who are finding form.
Winning the Brisbane game will give the players so much confidence knowing they have beaten most of the top teams and with dragons blowing out right on cue and almost running the storm down we are a force again. Losing to Brisbane and then to titans would be a massive downer. But if we beat Brisbane we will still entrenched in he top 8 and on a real tear.
Ill be cheering the boys on from the stands and fully believe we will win.

GO MANLY!
I'll join u in the stands. Up the mighty sea eagles.

bongos will get every call possible so to win up there we will have to beat 22 men, the 17 bongos players, 2 refs, 2 linesmen and the bunker
a loss under those conditions will not end our season, to win will be a miracle.
Fluffy the team has been impressive in beating the Cowboys, Roosters, Raiders & Rabbits away from home......the Broncos will be added to that list!! I think it's time we all start believing in our team & what they're capable of! I'm not impressed with the Broncos so far to be honest & am looking forward to our boys shoving it further up the doubters & by doubters I'm referring to the so called expert journalists etc.

On an even playing field we are more than capable of putting them away. BUT as usual it won't be even. The pinkos will be following Turdberg's instructions and those of Ch nein. Expect a fiasco that will hardly rate a mention in the media unless they fuk up and we actually win.

It's really a home game that we have taken away - we are undefeated in away games this year so the real question is can we maintain our away form for a "home" game?

you saw what happened after half time against the bunnies, it was so obvious even Bill Harrigan said so that the refs had been instructed to penalize away, this week it will be prior to kick off.

Yes I did & we lifted & overcame all the **** calls to spank the Rabbits. I agree our 2nd half wasn't as good as the 1st but the boys clocked off & when needed lifted. The same will go for the Broncos.......I reckon they're the ones who'll be feeling the pressure!

Couple of things i think we need to do tactically to give ourselves a chance against the Broncs in Brissy...Our start will be critical and so will keeping that crowd nice n quiet...in the early exchanges we need to dominate possession - tough to get penalised when we have the pill. Repeat set after repeat set if possible like the Bunnies game and we really need to be first to score. Id be happy with a penalty goal early - a positive start gives us a chance and the longer the game goes with us in the arm wrestle the more our confidence and self belief will grow. Go Manly

Brisbane like to play fast. We are going to need line speed all night and really work the bench rotations well to keep up, i cant see much value in the 16 &17 only getting 10 mins each . This will be no easy victory.

They are a very good side this year, going to be a real test.

Let's hope it's not like 2016 ( same game ) that was just embarrassing!!

Yes we can, as we won't be in the cursed jersey 😛

For those coming up from Sydney OR those that are SEQ / Northern Rivers based and are attending the games, I'm suggesting we make the Hotel LA ( short for Lord Alfred) " Manly Central".

It's located at the top of Caxton Street ( where it meets Petrie Terrace).

Say from about 4.00pm on Saturday the 13th.

Have a top night Mark - have to miss this game due to work!!
But have already booked for Titans and staying down there on the Coast - hope a few Silvertails back up after Mark leads them astray :rugby: @;)

We will need to have a Gold Coast Supportahs meet up before the titans game.
