Brian Kelly to Sea Eagles

Probably a good deal for both parties.. Was wondering if 2 years was enough for someone who could turn out to be real good.

But it seems right. He would have never accepted a one year deal. Two years for us lets us have a look and see if we have someone decent or a dud.

When does he come to Manly?

One article says
"Manly fended off several NRL clubs and the Titans for his signature for 2018-19 and see him as a gilt edged investment for the future."

Remember Michael Chee Kam??

I never rated him . After he left us he maintained his NSW cup status with the tigers
The analogy is that I hope Kelly doesn't go the same way, Chee Kam came to us as the gun forward of the NYC at the time!! Sounding familiar???

Personally, I don't think Dylan Walker was too bad last year. There were matches where the whole team was rudderless and his natural athleticism (even at 5/8) was the only dangerous component of our attack. He would take the line on and cause some headaches. His kicking and passing wasn't where it needed to be and that's why he is not a 5/8 but he was far from one of our worst last year.

Aside from Taupau's performance at the Bulldogs, Walker's game against Penrith at Brookvale was the single best performance from a Manly player all season. He will be a fine centre next year.

His mistake was coming to us when we were stacked at his preferred positions and he couldn't crack the squad + being injury prone = stalled career.

In at least one game Walker was a star at 5/8. But its true he is suited as a running player not a distributing player.

When you think about it even though it was a mistake to play Walker at 5/8 with DCE, they never really got a chance to form a combination with DCE having surgery last off-season and then getting injured twice for a month apiece during the regular season.

Yep, and DCE was also injured whilst playing alongside him, it was just that type of year

Also said that he only came because they promised first grade in 2017.....
