Did anyone see the game report video on the NRL website. Right at the end in the cellebrations, Snake is going crazy with pride and his gusto makes me think he has definately signed, he is right into Manly.
Yeah I saw that he was going bezerk in the victory song.
I was thinking the same thing I hope he has re signed, he isn't the only one who's into Manly without being gay lol

link anyone please - would love to see it

I think Brett is a bit snookered, in as much that fullback is such a specialised position, and his other club options are limited.
The only Sydney clubs that would be interested are, maybe the Roosters, but then again they resigned Mini, the Sharks perhaps, but they have Wright there now and Gardner to come back, the Dragons probably the strongest possibility, but they seem to have the position covered without paying Brett the cash that he is seeking.
Penrith, maybe, but it's going to be a hard slog for him there, Souths, Tigers, Parra and the bulldogs, seem to have the position covered.

It will be with us or overseas/rugby. There are lots of good fullbacks around. Can't see teams wanting to spend 500k on a fullback who is slowly dropping off.(PLEASE wait: he is a gun but can't see clubs paying 2 million for 4 years) with his injuries. As mentioned, we are so much better with him playing but we need him playing. Union is probably the only other dangerous option. He wouldn't go to Penrith.

I know he's the prince of Brookvale and all but is it really a smart move to be throwing alot of coin at him?
Banned!

Is it really a good thing for a moderator to threaten to ban a poster for a perfectly good post, even if it is in jest? What is this, primary school?

Primary school? I dont think so, its more like play school here and Miss Niccipops is the teacher.

The Snake seemed to be ok. However what is the status of Skivvy? I saw the brief highlights vid and he was in the shed celebrating, but do you think he's ok?

I would be surprised if he doesn't miss at least 2 weeks

He had the full bodyweight of the winger land on his ankle, that can't be good

I can't see him going to Union, his style of play just really doesn't suit that code. His kicking game is gash as well, which isn't going to endear him to RU teams. He'd be a massive buy for an ESL team though & I wouldn't be suprised if the Catalans rumours have some weight behind them. Getting paid 500k+ a year to play football in France with your mates, pretty good deal that.

Could be anything with him, though I'd expect him to miss next week at the very best. If he's broken a couple of smaller bones in his foot/ankle then there isn't a whole lot that can be done about it, he'll just have to get needled up & go out & play.
