The NRL integrity unit is investigating police reports that Cronulla Sharks star Josh Dugan has breached the state’s Covid laws – 150 kilometres from his home — in Lithgow late on Friday night.

Police said officers from Chifley Police District were patrolling Lithgow when they stopped a Jeep Cherokee at 11.30pm and spoke to Dugan, 31, and his passenger, a man aged 30.

“The men allegedly weren’t wearing masks and checks revealed they were from Gymea and Alexandria,” a police spokesman said.

“The driver allegedly told police they were moving to the area and were going to feed animals, however later admitted they were heading to a friend’s house for the weekend.

“They were directed to return home. About 40 minutes later, officers detected the same vehicle travelling away from Sydney towards Yetholme. The men were stopped and again directed to return to their homes. Charges are expected to be laid.”

The pair are facing police fines of up to $10,000.

Josh Dugan has always been a complete tool. This is another example of Josh embracing his inner idiot. What a dickhead.

If his contract is up this year and the dogs cap is 'finally' getting full (of has beens, tools, and maybe a decent player or two), one would think it's the end of the nrl for Josh, wouldn't it?

blonk-ish ?

During an incident on NSW's south coast earlier this week, Burgess left his vehicle after noticing he was being filmed by another person in a truck. Burgess will allege the person in the truck was the aggressor in the situation.

Burgess allegedly got out of his car and took the phone off the other person. It is understood Burgess then placed the person's phone on nearby grass. The police were later notified of the incident.

Off to a flying start on his return to NRL. Saints fans will be disapppointed to hear he is claiming he wasn't the aggressor. They hoped he would add some aggression, Oh well.
