Knocked back a contract offer from the raiders and Is on tbe market - I’d take him as 5/8
no, no, no, no, no, no.
He has his moments, but he's not what we need.
All he does is dummy and run. Pass.
As gus says no no no,no,no As for sacking TB and gus taking him back to Penrith where do I sign up to make that happen
No. If we had a proper halfback Austin would be ideal in the 6, unfortunately being stuck with an underwhelming game managing 7 leaves us with limited choices.
Not until he shaves .
And that's another thing doesn't do, passing the ball
We have very little money......we're not exactly in a position to be fussy at the moment. I doubt he'd come anyway so it matters not.
3 years in the army to sort out his discipline and short back and sides then he can apply for the job.
A few years back you knew he would dummy, step inside & score...defence was on to it....yet was good enough to do so. 3 years later doing the same thing at 70% & they are waiting- not the answer
Complete package if he can dummy and run and pass
He can run so he's a damn sight better than our current 5/8th.
Tom Wright can do that, plus step, plus faster & younger...very true though - better option than who they choose at 6...,,
Poor man's lachlan croker, no thanks
Is Blake Austin’s kicking game strong enough to give us quality options on the 5th tackle ?
His brother Steve would be a better option at 6 million Runs fast And a long kicking game Good fend and can throw a long pass
He's had two leg replacements not to mention his arm and eye problems so he's pretty injury prone and some of his replacement parts are probably past their use by date. He's worth a shot though.
The Morris twins were also on the market some time ago but i don"t think that there would be much mileage now in any Austin - Morris brand at Manly .
