I’ve watched all their games that have been televised on Fox but only read reports from various sources on the other games, but they have been awful all year. They were good the other night in part due to two genuine first graders playing very well,Paseka and Bullemor(in my opinion Bullemor is FG standard)Roosters had a few out but it’s reserve grade so that can happen most weeks so I’d suggest a fair win.Im not being negative,im being realistic.I think Paseka proved how big a gap there is between First and Reserve grade
Realistic is good - Paseka played well - but there were others who played well. Are they up to first grade standard yet - no but there is some young talent there in the forwards who could mature into something decent. Vaega - not sure on - he is a monster though. Humpreys - too young - he needs a lot more game time in Reggies before we know. The fullback the same - but he is an excitement machine. But I will say straight up - too small for first grade. You have to be exceptional if you are short and slight because you have to overcome the height deficiency to start with given every back and even some forwards will be outjumping you.

I would have thought prop is the one position we have covered better than any other:
Kapow, Sippers, Keppie, Tent, Bully, Al, DeLuxe, Lance, Jurbo.... Have I missed anyone?
Yes - Tuitavake :wait:

On a serious note I think Kapow already being shopped and unwanted - not great form
Sipley plays ok in patches, usually at NSW cup level
Keppie is full of brain explosions, but I see him here long term as potential is there.
Bullemore has had his ups and downs, again has potential and will get a good shot long term.
Boyle is a fill in.
Jake is a lock.
Aloiai is a must.
Paseka is potentially a beast and is a MUST long term option.
De Luis is simply a reliable backup.

That's 3 serious contenders from that bunch and at least 3 are on minimal payments.

100% agree on Tuitavake, has that raw power you don't gain in the local gym.
Can really bend the line and potentially the Monster off the bench to change a games momentum.
The only thing with Tuitavake, he may take that bit of time in relation to getting up to the speed of NRL level, as 1 would expect....but I feel after persisting over 4 - 5 weeks, he will maintain his spot in the 17 and be a fan favourite.
Tuitavake has been a fav of mine, then along comes Fafita what potential this guy has also, he monstered the Norths pack with every hit up.

It's easy to see Blacktown getting a score put on them most weeks and not be disheartened.

But what's a par season? For a coach it does depend on what your working with.

Blacktown lost a lot of experienced seasoned campaigners prior to the season.

Even North's best on the weekend Leiu, was at BT last year, and a train and trial with MAN in the preseason no less.

On top of that add little of our top 30 playing down.

It's been a year of opportunity for those taking a step up in grade and our Manly Juniors more recently seeing where they are at against men.

But make no mistake. Our first grade players for seasons to come, are indeed cutting their teeth and learning the hard way.

Paseka , De Luis & Bullemor playing Reserves today. Cracking forward pack BTW.

What a fu*king disgrace having this organisation as our 2nd grade. They're pathetic and deserve to be wooden spoon.
