It's proof that injuries and off field incidents do affect teams heavily. I reckon all these 3 need a new coach. Madge is a ......, Robinson is ...... Sook and Barrett couldn't coach to ...... save himself.

Good point about injuries kid. You take Thurston, Morgan, Talmalolo, Scott, O'Neill, Lowe, Cooper and Tamou (or 3 or more of any combination) out of the Cowboys and suddenly they aren't a top 8 side. Same with Brisbane, take Hunt, Milford, Parker, Oates, Roberts, Boyd and Thaiday out of that team and have them have to play their reserves and even the Supercoach would be struggling.

Fun Fact - Souffs coach Michael Maguire played fullback for the Adelaide Rams in their very first competition match in the SL against the Cowboys at the Stockland Stadium (as it was then) in Townsville on 1 March 1997. NQ won 24-16.

Prior to the Roosters-Warriors game being shown on Sunday , Gus did a studio interview with Robinson, blaming injury, retirement & suspension for their poor season.
No interview for Barrett, though.

Maguire and Robinson have been feted as coach of the year and won comps, suddenly they can't coach. Neil Henry's coaching ability was derided by many for failing to get the cows over the line and suddenly he is a candidate for coach of the year.
Point being, a losing team is not proof that the coach can't coach.
