We shouldn’t be concerned that Baz is talking to Gus. We should be concerned that Baz has no one to talk to at Manly. He is fed up and rightfully so. We are now an amateur club playing in a professional league.

I see on the backpage of tomorrow’s Telegraph Dean Ritchie says Manly will meet with Recruitment guru Peter O’Sullivan around taking up the position of recruitment manager at the club in a bid to provide more support to Barrett.

Think about it. This bloke will take three weeks to get up to speed, Trent seems to be working with Phil Gould to make lineup decisions so that will add further complexity, and the the NRL are there blocking everything we do.

Ok, I will probably get cut to ribbons here but, say you guys get what you want and Baz walks away, the problems with the club are still there ,very real, the place is a shambles and its a basket place. What coach in there right mind will want to walk into this mess right now. The problems have to be addressed and addressed quickly. One minute we have Gorman coming out and painting a rosy picture, saying all is good ,how good Baz is and how strong a coaching mind he has, and the next minute, it looks like he is going to walk away. I feel Baz has been hung out to dry here, alot of the stuff he has dealt with , he shouldnt of had to, our office staff are a mess,The Penns and Gorman have a bit to answer here in my books. Have you considered that Greenberg clone Hooper is sensationalizing the story in order to destabilize the club? He himself states that Barrett didn't mention anything about leaving or that he's even considered leaving so what's the point of the story? More media rubbish to cause instability within the playing group. If Barrett is considering leaving then he should do it now & p&ss off so that the club can get on with repairing the damage. Right now the club needs all supporters to stay loyal & solid throughout this drama. A few wins & we'll be back in tune! What irks me is that with the team we have / had & without all this bulls%t we could be on 12 competition points & sitting comfortably in the top 4! I'm angry & disappointed & am one who wanted then didn't want Barrett as coach, however after reading into all the articles lately there seems to be an agenda against the club by so called league journalists who won't give up until their agenda is met. If the club can pull thru all of this & the players remain solid then we can stick it right up where the sun doesn't shine to all these self absorbed morons like Hooper, Rothfield, Kent etc.

Any issues we are currently facing are entirely of our own making, except for the injuries to players.

Don't want Greenburg up your clacker for the cap issue....don't give yourself a cap issue.
Don't want bad press re Hastings....don't say stupid stuff in the press and keep it all in house.
Don't want bad press re strip clubs and punch-ins after...don't go to the strippers and break curfews.
Don't want cap issues?....don't do over inflated back ended deals.
Don't want a culture of bullying....stop being dkheads.
Etc, etc...

We can control all of it imo. And TB (and his hanger-on staff) has been front and center for the last 2.5 years of it.
He is as guilty of continued poor performance as Bozo and of course the untouchable Penn.

And FFS, stop feeding the media vultures. Give them zero.
