Still more inclined to look for positives and at least the back line will largely be intact for next week [ apart from a set 1 ] for some continuity ] , Perrett can give some necessary go forward as a starting prop based on last Friday night, A F B and Jake providing their normal roles , just a capable starting 2 nd row pairing as a general concern. Will be very helpful if Jetski and Boyle are available , Young Olokauatu probably will come into calculations [ most likely on the bench ] as he has been regularly in the final 19 in recent times , has a good tackling technique also . Why not T Rex on the bench also . Then also Keppi and Waddell into the mix , who while not top notch , can still make worth while input . The 2014 Manly elimination week 2 side was decimated by injuries as well , not at quite the present scale but almost got past the Bull Dogs who eventually gave the strong premiership Bunnies side a decent challenge . Again would still prefer to look for some positives , next week "s final is far from a fore gone conclusion ,. Doubt that D C E is that busted and if he can lift his game in particular and the side in general goes into the game with a do or die outlook , of course Manly are still in with a decent shot , regardless who their opponent will be .
Are we still blaming Dan Ferris for our injury toll ??

Realize that you were just being facetious but Des actually did start T Rex in the half back role for the Doggies in one Friday night game against Manly some seasons ago , Maybe just appropriate being classed as the world "s biggest half back at the time then but full back , that would really stretch one"s imagination even in a fantasy league .

How people blame anyone for contact injuries in a high impact sport is beyond me. But in terms of Ferris, the fitness displayed by all of the boys this season is testament to the blokes ineptitude... as is the Titans wooden spoon.
Didn't say I was a fan Shane, just interesting how we had plenty blaming him last season for our injury toll because we were unfit, but far more injuries this year I reckon

Will we be fielding the youngest and most inexperienced side in the history of semi finals? Other than Chez and jake and probably walker this week it is a complete team of rookies.
As Des names his side he will be handing out name tags for the players to wear at training all week.

Im sure Keppie and Olokau-atu will get a gig before T rex but behind them who is there? It'd be baldy Saunders or T rex but you'd imagine Des would go with T rex. Ive seen enough of him at Blacktown to think he could do a job for 20 mins but it sounds like Gosiewski and Boyle will be ok so we shouldn't need to pick him anyway
I'm sure they will needle up Jetski and Boyle (and also anyone else who could possibly drag themselves onto the field).
