Barrett, currently an assistant at Penrith, is set to replace Dean Pay as head coach of the Bulldogs for the 2021 season.
The team he is taking chargnoe of has won just two games all year and is staring at a wooden spoon

Dogs have had the absolute worst attack over last few years. That's the reason they went with twenty, the hope he can fix it.
gee I don't know about being a front runner ,with a no Premiership as a player ,certainly not as a coach or any where near it and with the way he left Manly he may have been in the mix but that is about it plenty with better credentials than him.
But what is it with Gould sticking his swollen mellon into Barrett's coaching appointments all the time ,he is a meddling incompetent who thinks he is the puppet master of that bloke.
Having sold Barrett to Manly 1st ,and then back to the Riff and now that Barrett has made his own decision wants to re sell him again back to the Riff.You can't keep a good salesman down eh Phil ? but I guess you also cant keep selling the same old dead horse either
