As a champion player, I personally didn't see it translate into coaching and he was given a few chances.

Will always be remembered for that opening try in the 40-nil Demo job on Melb, all the best Matty at the Broncs but not when against us...

Speaking of assistant coaches, how the hell does Cartwright get to keep his job at the Broncs. Most of the time he looks like he wants to have a nap in the coaches box. The time he was with us, always got the feeling it was just a pay cheque to him until he got something else. Should of shunted this character when Barrett departed tbh..

The fact that since he finished at the Titans he has been in what seems to be hot demand shows that he adds a heap of value. This is part of fans and supporters thinking that we have any real idea or insight into club dynamics - generally speaking we only see what is on television or what is presented in the media...an incomplete picture to say the least

Good points Isz, doesn't seem a passionate type of guy to me though. Guess he's found a home amongst all of Kevvies many assistants in Broncoville.
