Dont think he was ever signed by us.
He was/is signed by us,it is a train and trial contract or tier 2 contract.
Think it can be a maximum of $80K a year and there is a cap for tier 2 players.
Gould mentioned this a while back,not sure what the cap amount is though......
Guys like Rugless,Sykes,Uesele,Dunford,Dias,Cam Brown(if still with us) are all tier 2 players.
Heleta,Wakeham,Abbey,Seufale,Kalache,Aukofolau,E.Navale are Workers signings.

Mate, and we've literally regressed from then. I know people will (again) disagree. But we have.

When you focus on players who are stuck behind others, or ageing vets other teams don't want/need any longer, or players getting their contract values halved and forced to sign by a certain date, or players from losing cultures, you're not going to turn things around.

You end up with an injury prone, ageing, slowing roster that can't keep up with the high intensity, agile, mobile (especially in Defense) teams in the league today.

Our recruitment / retention have totally farked us. They've built this old, lumbering, poor quality , habitually 10th - 12th placed bum steer of a team. We are now even getting penalised for the next 3 years cap wise for their fark ups. Notice there's been no accountability for that? We are behind the rest of the league cap wise for THREE years

And it's not even the players fault. They are who and what they are. It's not Mestrov. God, even Siebold is limited. He can't turn a beat up dump truck into a Ferrari.

But we are here now. And we are going to be stuck here until our entire recruitment / retention team are sacked. If that includes Mestrov and Siebold, so he it.

It's just painful to hear them all tell us how great we are going every week. Same as the fans. We could be 13th by the end of this week. We'll have teams around us who have sacked their coaches for poor performance / results.
