4 hours until our dawn service .....such an honour to be with the diggers and to also honour my great grandfather who died in WW1. Lest we forget ❤️

A big day here for us aussie expats, about 100m of the street is blocked off where you can buy pies, sausage rolls and Aussie beer. Never miss it.

I always end the day with a few bundy and cokes watching youtube clips by Redgum, Williamson etc and get misty honouring what our great men and women went through and achieved. Unbelievable!

Thank you all for your sacrifices and i'm looking forward to the pies and getting misty again tomorrow.

I will never forget.

Just got home and it makes me so proud that every year the crowds attending are increasing. A lot of younger kids too = great parenting. Hope all the diggers have a wonderful and safe day.

Last year I went to Canberra watch us beat the raiders on the Friday night ..best away win in along time, then stayed down in Canberra for a few extra days and went to the dawn service in our nation's capital, it was a wet cold morning but a very moving experience and one in which I encourage all Australian's to do , that is go to dawn service one year in your life time.

Huge crowds, young and old have turned up at 5:30 since the DY RSL have held a beachside service

Previously the Club had squeezed in just a few hundred.

The sunrise at the service is very evocative

My two brothers ( Vietnam Vets) march in the Sydney event every year.
