Im pretty sure Garrick is on a contract north of $750k. We had to fend off Newcastle during the last contract negotiations as they promised him the fullback roll.
In turn we had to offer him fullback money.

He is great for our club and never gives up but for overall cap/squad balance this is probably the right move. I don’t want to lose Koula out of the 2 that’s for sure!

I bring it up coz the Garrick bashing has been going on for years whilst the Trbos are a protected species that’s why. The Garrick bashing has become boring. Also how the hell do you know what Garrick will do? Where has it been stated he’s chasing the money? Are you privy to discussions with the Trbos & what they will be paid or you just reading media reports? Who has been the more reliable & earnt their salary? Certainly not your favourites? And I really don’t give a $hit what people are thinking about the Trbos & their worth or seeming love for the club. I don’t dislike them but we lose a valuable member of the team to keep them happy….fu<k that!

This is what I've been saying for a while. Everyone goes on about the injury toll to Souths, yet for the vast majority of the season we've been missing what is essentially our entire first choice front row (Paseka, Croker and Aloiai).

No Croker and Aloiai has made us better.

Souths have literally missed their best players like Murray out all season. Not even comparable.

We are nowhere near as badly affected as other teams. Only the Knights and Tigers are performing worse based on this injury ladder.
