Aloiai Gone

Heavens above, you are completely obsessed with the whole woke thing. How do I know?

I have you on ignore. Didn't even realise I had you on ignore and no recollection why or even that you existed for that matter.

A thing comes up which says 'you are ignoring content by this member' which tweaked my interest about who I had on ignore. I didn't think I'd blocked anyone.

So how do I know that this is your obsession? Because you never pop up with the ignored member thing in any other actual footy related thread. Never.

Guessing you're an anti-gay, anti-immigration, anti-vax sovereign citizen.

You might want to think about contributing to footy discussion on a footy forum. Just a thought. I'll have no way of knowing cause you're back on ignore, baby.
Once again rent free in your head if you had to block someone on a forum because you disagree with their opinion. But I’m not surprised 🤣

Yeah I do comment from time to time on here regarding real footy issues if you actually had a look on my profile, but I’d rather support the club in person and financially rather than living on a forum like you do.

People probably forget TKO was close to best prop in the game when Roosters went back to back.
True, and I recall at the time Buzz Rothfield did his list of player values because there was so much mirth about the idea the Chooks weren't rorting the cap. He (seriously) assessed TKO at $250k. Would be funny if not so outrageous

Don't we have to pay him out even if he is medically retired?, it just frees cap space.
He gets paid whatever happens. Unless he simply decides to retire and leave $600k behind, out of the goodness of his heart (which at certain other clubs players have been known to do)(yeah right!)
All player salaries are covered by the NRL grant.
If he's approved as medical retirement insurance normally covers his money and he's off Manly's cap.
If he's not approved then Manly pays him as usual from the NRL grant and it counts on our cap. Even if he's unable to take the field.
Think that's the gist of it

The events of August 2022 were a dark time for the club, the inexplicable way it was handled by the club and the consequent actions of Aloiai and company split the playing group, that we won no games after that incident and the 2022 season was terminal from that moment on, the coach was sacked and never again do I want to see players NOT want to play for our club in that vital match.

Aloioa did play carrying injuries and you cannot fault his bravery in that respect nor can you forgive his ignorance and bigotry shown in 2022!!

Not sure about that, fairly certain that Parramatta received salary cap exemption for Watmaugh even though they didn't get an insurance payout.
The criteria for insurance payout is more strict than salary cap exemption, for insurance payout the injury has to sudden and catastrophic, one like the injury Jharal Yow Yee had, however a player with a series of neck injuries might be advised by his doctor to give the game away, this probably wouldn't warrant an insurance payout but should get cap exemption.

The man stuck true to his faith, where many waver. Many of spiritual faith believe the true meaning of the rainbow should be reclaimed.

The first mention of the rainbow in the Bible occurs after the great flood, specifically in Genesis 9:8-17. After Noah and his family exited the ark, God established a covenant with them, stating:
"Behold, I establish my covenant with you and your offspring after you, and with every living creature that is with you... I establish my covenant with you, that never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood, and never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth." (Genesis 9:9-11)
In this context, the rainbow serves as a sign of this covenant, symbolizing God's mercy and faithfulness. God declared that whenever a rainbow appears in the clouds, it would remind Him of His promise to humanity and all living creatures.

Like the injury non reporting , the club is next to ****ing useless in updating us about where things are at with both AoA & Croker.

It’s ridiculous

I think we’ve been over this stuff ad nauseam. In summary: two camps, neither will convince the other. So really no need to jump onto that merry-go-round again three years later.
My earlier point was that every time there’s an opportunity, one particular poster plunges, quite tediously, into his whole anti woke shtick. And the opportunity is an unrelated discussion of the Aloiai retirement.

Boring.
