I'm G. Annesley and everything the refs do is correct.
I am the very model of a modern major general

Win this. Then hope the Dogs can knock over the Cows at Accor and we’ll be back at Brookie for a home semi.

I'm sure they still have money in the sombrero for some Super League replacements.
Shaun Johnson has no more matches for the Wahs; it would be only fair to poor Easts to let him play for them in the finals series. After all, it's such a privilege to play for the tri-colours.

Correct. Even a draw between those two and a win by us would see us leapfrog cows on F&A.
Actually, a draw would have us leap-frog both! Dogs F+A is only one-point better than ours. So an Accor draw and Manly win would automatically have us in front of both. Unless we only win by one point. Not sure what would happen if that was the case though?

So if we win this weekend, we probably want the dogs to beat the cowboys in a golden point slug fest

Think the cowboys at home after a away game for them is a great match up for us

I think getting in the roosters side of the draw is also a big advantage

Either way. Winning against the sharks is imperative

Doesnt matter home final wise but I'd prefer the Cows at Brookie. Less travelling fans.

That said, we have to beat the Sharkies before we worry about that.
Great call.

Cowboys are a good chance. Dogs will be without Burton and Xerri. However they get Crichton back.

Cowboys are a good chance.
Yeah, the Cowboys have been pretty good away from home this season, and they play a similar game to us (great attack, defence can be iffy). They also have some big bodies, like McLean and Taumololo, and some excellent edge players who will test the smaller Bulldogs pack. I know the Dogs are favourites with the bookies, but the Cowboys have to be a big chance.

After last rounds games, nothing is for certain anymore. Even the consistent Storm have looked shaky in a lot of there games. It's all about imposing your game right from the kick off and maintaining it for the full 80min. Defence doesn't seem to be a big priority for lots of teams now, but it down to late season fatigue maybe. if you have an attack than can outscore your opponent, this usually gets you the win even if it's in the 80th minute...hello Warriors and nearly Saints and Chooks.

I’d be quite happy for a brutal golden point slugfest ending in a draw between dogs and cows.

They have an international-standard back (Nawaquatese) and a first squad centre (Billy Smith) as back up...

Losing Sam Walker hurts but Manu to 6, Keary to 7 and slip the afprementioned players into centre... defence may be a problem but good chance they will be able ro oitscore opponents with their attack...
