They have an international-standard back (Nawaquatese) and a first squad centre (Billy Smith) as back up...

Losing Sam Walker hurts but Manu to 6, Keary to 7 and slip the afprementioned players into centre... defence may be a problem but good chance they will be able ro oitscore opponents with their attack...
Fuk 'em. I hope they don't win another game. Absolute grub of a club.

Pretty good final round with 7 games having top4/8, home/away final or wooden spoon implications. Closest thing to a dead rubber is Drags v Raiders but technically it's for 8th if Dolphins Knights ends in a draw. Storm v Broncos is the only true dead rubber.

Easts are the last club in the final eight that I would want to win the premiership. Canterbury would be next. I have a grudging respect for Melbourne because of its incredible record, and Penrith because of its local talent and ability to excel despite having its best players pinched.

Love them or hate them . They are their own Men
If they are good enough on the day they will win
Like all Winners do
Also , There is a little bit of Grub in all of us feathered friend
And I hope our pack has enough Grub in them
to rub the Sharks noses in the 4 pines grass

So souffs have found three 'independent' doctors to say Latrell is fit to play this week....so now he can serve his one game suspension in Rd 27.

- Nice limp he has atm...

I don't blame Latrell for souffs finding 3 dodgy doctors but what a joke. But I guess everyone still claims all doctors (like referees) are totally above board and there's not a dodgy one to be found everywhere.

Interim coach Ben Hornby initially revealed Mitchell would not return this year from a Lisfranc injury that had sidelined him since the start of July, only to change his tune last week and declare Mitchell was an outside chance for the final round of the regular season.

NRL 360 host Braith Anasta said last month: “It would be an absolute piss take [to serve a suspension this year]. If you took one of those games that he was never going to play and use that as his suspension ... come on.”

Personally I think post-dating suspensions is BS. For on-field offences suspensions are served immediately regardless of whether or not the offender happens to be injured. This is an off-field matter but what's the difference? If you happen to be injured - which certainly does happen - you might get lucky and have the suspension coincide with you being unavailable anyway. NRL trying to manipulate this one - probably just trying to make a show of being tough on Mitchell - so if Souths pull a stunt to beat them then good luck to them.
All the shock horror about white powders is a bunch of bs anyway when the game takes untold money from alcohol and gambling which are arguably far more damaging to the community.

Poor old Easts. They have had to scrap the barrel to replace their fallen heroes. Got some bloke called Mark Nawa-something. Got him from that dud outfit the Wallabies. Must have been a cheapie because they managed to fit him under the salary cap.

Love to see the donkeys get buried tonight… add in a few incidences that prevent Storm spine players from playing over the next 5 weeks or so, and that’s a good Thursday night.

First 10 minutes so far and not a penalty or 6A called. Makes for such a better game. Take note NRL and officials. May it continue through the finals.

Is it just me or are Melbourne using grapple techniques again cause a tackler has their arm around the Broncos head almost every tackle

Storm are looking on here. They have really tightened up their game and look ready for finals. If they maintain this though the finals they’ll be difficult to stop. We need them to drop about 11 first graders. 😊

And right on cue, they turn on the clown show 😂😂😂
