Does anyone feel that players are being over trained these days? Seems like there is a lot of non-match injuries, and I think the pre-match "warm-ups" are way too long and strenuous.

What disappoints me most is how badly the club treats its die hard supporters by keeping us in the dark. It back to the Peter Peters days. They excite us about signing the young stars (Schuster & Hoppa) and since we been told told sweet F A about how they are progressing or recovering from injury. In the meantime they are serving **** sandwiches like the one on Saturday night. You can probably tell that I am angry.

It’s one thing that annoys me about the club.Everything is a secret or Des’ under the radar philosophy creeps into the whole organisation.The club needs to be more open or accessible,not just to fans/members but to media and potential sponsors or they’ll keep operating out of demountables

I have heard nothing on the knee reoccurrence injury as mentioned above in this thread.

From my understanding he has been good for 6 weeks.

Can only hope he gets a chance at fullback, but anywhere in the back line he will strengthen.

To be fair to Croker, he plays half decent when relieving Levi. Unfortunately he doesn’t step up when he’s put into his preferred position. Go figure.

Croker is rubbish and would not make first grade with any other team

I don't get that reasoning. He's either passed fit or he's not. A player with a niggling injury might be spared in slippery conditions but not a young powerhouse who has passed every fitness test. (I could be wrong, just seems odd to me)

IF, and I reckon it's a massive if with Des's track record, he was to play then I would very much doubt it would be at the expense of Horhay, Garrick or Funa (cant see Des naming the kid and then dumping him out)... I also reckon Des is committed to the back-up 9 role that Croker plays...
So I reckon it could only happen by either Hoppa to wing and Garrick to FB (Don't like this option at all cause Garrick struggles there) or, and this would be my tip, Hoppa replacing Elliott at FB...
It would be a big call because I doubt he could just slot into the attacking line straight away but at least he is familiar with the position defensively...
