Yep. Both S Fainu and Z Saddler need to be signed and upgraded.
 
With Aoli, Marty, Tent, Kelpie Slippers on the payroll, Sione and Alex coming through, if we buy Woods and Bully Boy then Zac may miss out. Even if Marty does leave we would still have a shltload of props.
 
300k is very good as far a Woods is concerned isn't it? Esp in these covid times?

Anyway...I don't mind the singing (signing - D'oh!) if it's happening.

Can’t compare the two, that is an insult to Foz. Although past his best, he was always a class player, Sharon was always a Mr Plod.

I agreed with you at the start of this season but now not so much...
Foz has clearly had his best season in some time and is attacking the line and supporting Chez brilliantly I reckon...

Hell he even seems to have found a bit of leg speed again... a BIT, not a lot :giggle:
 
Far out we are tough to please, aren't we? If he went to the roosters for $300k we would be up in arms saying they are cheating the cap..... but WE sign him for $300k and we are ripping off our juniors!

$300k for Woods is a bargain. Our team culture and environment will get the best out of him - he will be worth far more than $300k if we can get the integration right. It is totally a risk worth taking (like Foran) and I back Des 100%

He's a lucky boy Sharon - he might be joining a premiership team!

Woods may be good value but the point is: do we need another prop? We've got more than a Hollywood movie set.
If we lose Suli and Tafua we certainly need a back-up centre and winger, one of whom can hopefully also play fullback when needed.

That's the thing about Woods, he just seems like a plodder when you watch him because he's not a flashy prop, but his stats are actually quite good... play the ball speed is another one that he does quite well.

He's not a marquee player, but he does have a lot to offer and is a bargain at $300k.
