Thanks everyone much appreciated.

Mick's plans are coming together and are as follows.

Family cruise ( South Pacific )

Cape York ( 4wd trip)

Perth ( the little boys have never flown, so that will be a treat ).

He's undergoing another 3 months of chemo in the hope that extends his life past Xmas.

So instead of 6-9 months he might get maybe 12-15 months.

The boys are only 5 & 7 but dont worry we will make sure they know their Dad in the years to come.

A long, long shot knowing how slow medical testing processes can be. But I don't know if there's a value in raising this with your doctor hoping to be included perhaps in a trial? Maybe clutching at straws, but you don't know if you don't ask.
