Think you’ll find it happens a bit,doesn’t necessarily mean the club doesn’t want the player.More often than not,it’s about keeping the player/manager happy and the club also gets a gauge on what the player is worth for their own benefit when it comes to contract renewal. If the club doesn’t want a player,they’re normally the ones shopping the player around

Would have again thought a bit of variation with some of the more higher profile guys , both up and down on the cap scale and a few of the lower amounts , a bit increased but overall , probably have the net balance about right

Although I think you've underestimated the cost of some of those near the end of the list.
From reports of what we were paying fainus as teenagers for example, the deals for Walsh and Large could be a fair bit higher than you estimate? even Navale, Bryan and Zaidas

Hopefully with the $$$$$ we have spare we can land another semi decent forward , Kobe has been one, but we possibly need another.

And then a couple of potential forwards from reserve grade at clubs where they can’t get a start , I watched the Raiders game at the weekend Noah Martin would be perfect , goes hard , stuck well behind the existing forwards there , would have to get a contract break but that’s seems to be easy these days.

We've got Jake sucking the bank dry next season, so we're screwed

Jake needs to medically retire before he does more damage. Look at Cordner and Friend as examples. Too many concussions now. Put him on the coaching staff just get that $1mil+ off our cap.

Don't think Fermor is realistic as looks like Titans are no longer interested in releasing.

Think Harrison Hasset, Lazarus Vaalepu would be two realistic young players that have room for growth and would allow us space in 27 for a marquee.

Moale I like though depends the price.

Wilson seems reasonable with Talau and Veaga moving on.

If Croker moves on I think Berrell as a 12th month option is reasonable unless an option pops up.

The above is all based on off contract players But obviously options will present.

is Moale on the market ,I thought I read or heard that Souffs didn't or wont re sign him ?
He is only young and unless there is something wrong with him ,he would be a good get.
The other one would be that Roosters young Prop Faiteki ??? He had a few runs in 1sts cause of injuries etc ,but is behind a lot of quality at the Rorters ,where with us would get more game time ,I would think
