But that is my opinion

Everyone needs to settle down.

Brooks is a better player than DCE currently let's him show.

A pure organiser like a Fogarty or Reynolds will set him loose.

But Jake Arthur will do the same job as either of them and has way better defence than the bloke heading out the door. He's not a permanent fix but the youngsters on the books will be.

Save that Fogarty or Reynolds money for a year or two and get a proper prop who can rip and tear.

I think the club should test Walsh in NSW cup in a two to three weeks time and get a feel of his defence against the bigger bodies, along with his kicking game.

Only one way to find out if Walsh is ready and that’s road test him.

Should he look like he needs more time keep an eye on the Storm situation with Hughes, it’s either Pezet or Wishart that have a clause should Hughes resign they are free to negotiate.

For me Jake Arthur is not the answer and the club knew that when they signed him, they said they signed him as a potential backrower.

Pezet returned today his first game back from an ACL and didn’t finish the game, came off with a knee injury, same knee as last season.

I was surprised he didn’t take the money Newcastle offered him over the offseason, he does have the clause in his contract should Hughes sign on he is free to negotiate with other clubs.

Now I’m finding I’m checking silvertails every hour and my IQ is diminishing.

Yeah but I think Wishart would be the pick, robust in defence and attack, and would retire into a spot in the side as Walsh comes through, like a proper 14 that seibold seems to be averse to.

Since walker left the club hasn't had any impetus from the bench unless you count bullimore, who is a front row/middle forward, and doesn't come on early enough.

I'm losing patience with seibold, he cost us the game in Auckland by leaving Jazzy T on too long after he had busted himself trying to prove a point against the warriors, his old club, and if he keeps playing the meerkat when he is back from injury, just watch how the side goes.

I actually despise the 'manly way' bull**** and the YouTube clips.

It reeks of woke pretendism, and unfortunately the halfback at the club is the poster boy for that ****, which is anathema to someone like Jamie Lyon who if I recall won a couple of premierships being a normal country boy.

DCE has had time enough at the club, giving him two years on ridiculous money would destroy the team for three or four years.

Out of left field……I’d give Lehi a go at 5/8 with Brooks at 7. He’s got the skills 100%. Work hard on his kicking game & he could be wow! Trbo stays at FB.

Have to agree by the way Ricky answered the question before the game ... I've told him that of course I'd love to keep him but, if there's a good offer, he'd have to do the best for himself and his family.
