2025

Seibs has been pretty good with our list and improving things.

25 looks more of a changing of the guard year IMO.

A couple of younger guns with some zip in the forwards and I'll be happy.

The real changing of the guard is at the selection table.

We were a better team with Hoppa in it. With Simpkins in it.

Add another young gun to the forwards and it's a different side. Can be a different style of play.

It's some of our bigger names that might need to see less minutes, a different role, or a different position.

There is challenges ahead, but get that mix of old and experienced with exeberence of youth right. It brings success.

Now for a couple of gun young forwards.

Noway Saab is in reserves! Saab in, Lehi to 14, Brbo to reserves, Sipley in place of Navale for now.

Trbo
Saab
Garrick
Koula
Talau
Brooks
DCE
Paseka
Croker / Simpkin
Aloiai
Olakau’atu
Bateman
Jrbo
Res: Lehi, Sipley, Bully, Brown

I would think Tevaga at least bench to start and agree Saab will start. Talau's spot at risk to young Hoppa.

IMO If we want to improve on this year this is my Yart,

1. Hoppa
2. Saab
3. Turbo
4. Koula
5. Garrick
6. Brooks
7. DCE
8. Paseka
9. Simpkins
10. Jake
11. Big O
12 Bateman
13.Brown
14. Tevega
15. Talau
16. Aloio
17. Sipley
18. Burbo

We need another young mobile backrower and mobile prop forward. The pack at present still looks too slow..

This is almost exactly my preference, with a couple of tweaks imo:

- I would swap Talau and Koula, as Tolu would be more dynamic coming off the bench through the middle.

- For the same reason, I would also swap Aloiai and Paseka. Josh could give it his all for the first 20 and just keep it nice and tight, and Paseka to knock them down when things loosen up (his second stint is always more effective)

- Bullemor in for Sipley, and Navale in for Brown to really increase our leg speed through the middle.

I would also put Ola'akautu on the left with Brooks, and Talau, Saab. I would stick Bateman on DCE, with Turbo, Garrick.

I was was very whelmed with Navale, granted I only saw a handful of his games. I would love to see
1 - Turbo
2- saab
3 - koula
4 - talua/garrick
5- talua/garrick
6 Brooke
7 DCE
8 paseka
9 Simpkin
10 jurbo
11 ola
12 Bateman
13 brown/bully
14 jazz
15 brown/bully
16 aloai
17 Burbo/lehi

Crocker is to slow and body seems to be giving up
Jazz can cover hooker if needed but Simpkin could play 80mins
Jurbo/brown/bully can all rotate between prop and lock
Burbo can cover edge forward and centre however I hate to leave lehi out

Worried about speed in the pack but you didn’t pick Bully?

Mate I don’t think we can go around in 2025 with Croker as an 80 minute hooker again 25/40 maybe but not 80
As myself and others have said before when Simpkin was playing 9 during the season we looked a different team . We have to speed that ruck area and have our big fowards hitting the line at pace , there is just no substitute for it in today’s game
Look at Storm Sharks Riff even dogs

I want / need us to be more agile, explosive, ruthless. We have too many of the same type of forwards.

Arthur to play a Lawton role (if he hasn't signed elsewhere).

Some favourites dropped there, but that's what amazing clubs like Penrith, Melbourne and others do - they morph to stay ahead of the game, even losing marquee players.
I like the look of that side, maybe Lodge for Aloiai if he signs or younger prop.

2025 is a new season and a new era of innovation
Parker gone
Woods Gone
Croker should join them
A Dynamic 9 in the spine changes the Dynamics of the team

Dumb signing, can’t understand why we brought him back into the club. He’s not a first grader.
It is what it is feathered friend
and It will become what comes of it in the end

Each coach selects his playing group
Each coach Sets the culture
Each coach Sets the teams playing style
And
Each coach is accountable for his teams results

Bring on 2025
Bring on the Top 4 Manly Sea eagles
Because other than a top 4 spot we wont be the progressive club under Seibold
We do not wan to be going back wards
We want to go forward and soar into a Grand final

At Manly we do not want just to Exist
At Manly We want to Excel and be Great again
We do not just want a career coach
We want a Grand Final Winning coach

Bring on 2025 and the High Pressure expectations of the High Manly Premiership Winning Standards
As Pressure at Manly is a Privilege and it only comes to the Great ones that Earn it and Make Manly Great again

The moral of the story
Lower our Legendary clubs Great Premiership Winning Standards
and We Stand for Nothing Great
