Haumole offered a 7 yr $6m contract extension
It sounds great but the Tom debacle is stopping us the past few seasons and will affect us the next few seasons still. Surely 4 years at 1.1 is enough!!! THE DCE one though was a miracle as he never got injured. Forwards are different. Penrith don't do this!! Not even with Cleary.

The Sea Eagles have signed Aitasi James, a boom young lock who played five NRL games for the Tigers last season.

A tough 22-year-old, James handled the elevation well in a team that struggled to win games and should appreciate playing in the strong Manly pack in 2024

This is excellent news, not being smart but he is not a lock, that is on the tigers page.
He is a bit of a beast of a front rower.
He is a big human, but pretty athletic and played well when given the chance in NRL this year.
Loss for the Tigers as he looked better than Utoikamanu this year.
Good motor for a big guy.

Per todays SMH we are interested in yet another Tiger Alex Twal:

“On the field, the Tigers are preparing to move on one of their longest-serving players after this masthead revealed rival clubs had been alerted to cult hero Twal’s availability despite having another year to run on his deal.

According to club sources speaking on the condition of anonymity due to the private negotiations, the Sea Eagles had expressed an interest in adding the Lebanese international to their roster.”

Keppie potentially to Tigers per todays SMH:

“It comes as Manly prop Sean Keppie became the latest player to be given the green light to speak to rival clubs despite being under contract on the northern beaches until the end of 2026.

The Sea Eagles only upgraded Keppie’s contract late last year, but he’s landed on the radar of the Tigers as both clubs seek to reshape their forward packs.“

Twal, no thanks, his best years are behind him now, rather keep Keppie if it came to the crunch.

??? He's 27. That's the prime age for a prop unless you're a freak like Haas
I get that he's only 27, but the games I've seen him play have come of the bench with very limited go forward doesn't look to offload, basically just a middle of the road plodder. Surely Seibold can't be this clueless to want pick up this player. Base money and Blacktown bound if we're crazy enough to sign him.
