I 100% prefer Penrith over scum, even though they've won 3 in a row and usually would go the "other" team.....if it wasn't Storm !!
Also think penrith will win, but far less confident after seeing the Storm demolition job on Roosters....I expected them to Win well, but Melbourne won so with plenty in reserve and look like a serious challenger for the 2024 comp and I give credit to Bellamy and the Storm team for "closing the gap" as Penrith look good, but far from certainties againgst a methodical well drilled team who offer the best spine in the comp....and what a battle the 1 ,6, 7 and 9 will be !!

Edward vs Pap - I take pap as he is just electric, but Edwards is more reliable and Mr consistent.
Munster vs Luai - again tough but Munster is in red hot form and running 20+ times a game, Luia has the better short kicking game
Cleary vs Hughes - Cleary is the best player in the game, but if ever a 7 was in sparkiling form to challenge him it's hughes who will be hard to control on Sunday
Hooker Grant wins this battlke vs Kenny in a landslide, I like kenny and he's a tough bast**d, but grant is streets ahead as the games elite 9 and the BIG difference in the spine and see this as the Storm slight advantage...though Cleary is so good almost levels it out.
This is where Yeo I think will play that assist to the spine, as Melbourne do not have that "next in line" player and this may be that slight difference come Sunday.

Probably a bit different to other opinions on here, as I reckon it's gunna be a Super GF and looking forward to it.....just get on 6 - 10 Penrith with Garner and To'o a try ....but bet responsibly :wait:

The Melbourne Storm have confirmed they will contest the grading of Nelson Asofa-Solomona’s high tackle charge in a bid to let him play in the 2024 Grand Final.

It comes as the Storm successfully had the NRL fast-track the judiciary from Tuesday to Monday night in a bid to not disrupt their Grand Final preparations.

“Melbourne Storm confirmed today they will contest the four-match suspension handed down to Nelson Asofa-Solomona by the NRL judiciary,” the club said in a statement.

NAS wont get off, if he does, every NRL player that gets charged with the same grading and similar offence will reference this incident. It wont happen. NAS only risking one extra week anyway.

For me, both teams deserve to be there & I'm looking forward to the game.
I would have preferred NAS to be playing, as I'd like to see both teams play their strongest line-ups.

I read they might even try to delay the suspension, like May did?!

If I'm Storm most definitely challenge it....his power chargers could be a big factor as it allows Grant to run on the back of almost every run, plus creates huge momentum and just his size is of Massive importance against that rugged Penrith pack.
Agree 100% "should" be suspended based on previous judiciary decisions, but the NRL have a leniency of allowing players way more lattitude to evoid suspensions when there is a key game like the GF involved.

I see what you're getting at maxta, being a GF and all. But if NAS gets off, every NRL fan will be saying what's going on here. Not a good look for the NRL

The purple scum doesn't deserve to even be in the competition. They add absolutely nothing to the NRL other than cheating and imagining new ways to maim their opponents. It's an absolute fact that this club will do absolutely anything to win. They don't consider anything out of bounds, and they sure as s**t do not play in the spirit of the game. This club is an absolute blight on the NRL landscape.

Very true and I didn't realise NAS is up for a 4 week rest....that maybe would open up a can of "Monster" worms if he got off for the GF ....
But I'd still take the chance, even though what your saying is 100% correct ...

Do you think that the mrc gave nas a grade 3 so that when melb contest it they win a downgrade to a grade 2, then everyone wins (a little bit anyway). You know what it’s like nowadays, you can’t have any losers, everyone has to win
