Pretty close to the mark, mate! There was a Corporate Partners event last night and luckily enough the Members Council was also invited.

Tony addressed the room along with Shane and Jim following their first day at the helm (Flanno had only arrived back in Sydney 11pm the night before, so he did well to stick around!).

Turbo, Reuben and Croker were also there mingling and answering questions.

Scott Penn was also in attendance.

Everyone was in very high spirits and seemed genuinely excited about the prospects for 2023.

Sea Eagles End of Season Corporate Function

The Sea Eagles hosted an end of season function on Monday night for our valued corporate partners at the Centre of Excellence at 4 Pines Park. New Assistant Coaches Shane Flanagan and Jim Dymock were special guests along with players Tom Trbojevic, Reuben Garrick and Lachlan Croker. Photos...

Haha! Tony only gave a brief address mate, he did mention that the US game was only postponed for 2023 and will likely go ahead in 2024.

Most of the focus was on the players and coaching staff.

Tom spoke about how keen he was to get back into training after the shoulder injury and most of the focus on Reuben and Croker was around their contract extensions. They both expressed their desire to be here as long as the club will have them!

Flanno and Jimmy spoke about what they can bring and what attracted them to the role. Shane in particular was really impressive, it was quite clear that he wants to get back into the role of Head Coach within the NRL and sees success with us as the way to get there.
