I'm doing civil and criminal procedure as a unit at Uni next year so sadly I don't know the ins and outs. But gosh I hope this goes in our favour

I can see a career for you as the Sea Eagles legal representative in judiciary matters. I'd be sounding the club out to be placed on a retainer, like our 'Development' players.

He has a NZ passport, I believe. Can’t remember why, but I think it came up in a recent interview with his mum.

It’s a sad development.
Fainu took a real stab at hooker this year, so much so the club decided to cut Api from next years roster. Fainu’s career appears to be on a knifes edge.
Hopefully the squad can remain sharp & focussed and we don’t have to read about team morale being slashed or any backstabbing among his team mates for the disruption to our offseason

PS: I do not consider Fainu guilty at this stage. I’m still hopeful he has a strong defence we are yet to hear

You have a way of brightening every party. I was expecting 2020 to be a breakout year for Fainu. One man’s disaster will, once again, prove to be another man’s opportunity. May be a way of getting Cust into the team in a starting position.

IMO this off season would've resulted in Fainu getting either the CCM OR Dally M award, possibly both

A specialist hooker is obviously the go ... but at least Cust and Croker will have the entire pre season under Matty Ballin's tutelage ... have no doubt that either would give a handy account of themselves ....

And Michael Monas.

He successfully switched from half to hooker so he should be able to guide them through the transition

I think Cust would make an excellent hooker . We seem to forget that Nas started in the halves also I think Desmond and Tooves might have also played a little at both hooker and half.

Has anyone else been jailed or even arrested though? It's not looking good i hope he didn't do it but someone did and they've got our boy in there sights. They have witnesses otherwise he wouldn't even get spoken to let a alone jailed. Maybe he can claim SD but hes already claimed not to be there at the time of the incident so.... all I know is this has screwed us royally

Surely any budding young champion hooker would jump at the sudden chance to have a full season in NRL leading Manly's formidable forward pack around.
Incedible opportunity for someone, you'd think the agents would be knocking our door down with young hopefuls so we should be able to pick the best.

Likewise a good mate of mine I grew up with his now a jehovahs witness. Had some dark times and found God. I think it's a load of rubbish. But each to their own. But 100 percent.. jehovas have house parties every weekend on the drink amongst themselves haha

Then more experienced Dany Levi, Matt Mckilrick, Issac Luke, Lichaa.

Then our own Cust, Croker and ZDC.

Plenty of options. All willing to play for unders to get an NRL gig. All of which will get a full preseason with Singe and Hasler working with the rest of the spine.

There’s options aplenty, as long as we can fit them in under the cap.

Surely if the bench Nase for the season we get cap relief though??

Why Woolford? I would have put him on a similar level to ZDC. Possibly even less as he didn't play big minutes this year. I'd also question the levels that Billy Brittain and Harry Grant are being held up to. They both played with very strong forward packs for NSW/QLD cup level (whereas ours sucked).
