Granville is well and truly past it in my opinion. Sloppy service, lost his zip, gives away penalties. I’d rather go for Levi or anyone else really. Don’t think Granville is value either for what I think he would want

Whoever we bring in, I'm certain one consideration will be what they can bring to squad culture. Without prejudging any current players, posters such as Ryan were raising alarm bells about player behaviour for a year or more, and he may have had more of a point than I gave him credit for at the time.
Granville is a premiership winner. Des has a good record at bringing in such types for a strong swan-song. (so is T Rex for that matter)

Apparently back in court in December but by 'day of reckoning', if you mean a jury trial my best guess is towards the end of 2020. Things can change, charges can be dropped or downgraded, but without inside info there's no way to know if there's any chance of that for Manase.
