Congrats to the 7 players involved ... regardless of what some may think of these rep games ... there is no doubting the importance many of these players place on being chosen to represent their nation or State .... well done fellas and do yourselves and Manly proud ...

Having a quick scan through these representative squads and it looks like Melbourne has its entire top 17 selected somewhere - except for Scam.
The showcase match-up in the NRL in the week following these matches is Storm V Easts where both sides are almost certainly going to be weakened by injury.
Poor timing, but good for Easts who will have Latreen and Crichton fresh and desperate to show Freddy up.

Firstly hope AFB and Fainu have Top games and like the boys in SOO, come out healthy and firing for Manly vs Titans.

Another point here is check out this Tonga forward pack, it is filled with some of the biggest , baddest players on the planet and if forwards win matched....this team will at very least give NZ a scare.....to see Taumalolo, Fifita, Pengai Jnr and AFB and the rest are guns also, in the 1 pack - is a scary proposition....I reckon this will be a Top game and will be right into it Sat arvo !

FORWARDS

8 - Andrew Fifita
9 - Siliva Havili
10 - Siosiua Taukeiaho
11 - Tevita Pangai Junior
12 - Manu Ma'u
13 - Jason Taumalolo

INTERCHANGE

14 - Manase Fainu
15 - Addin Fonua-Blake
16 - Peni Terepo
17 - Sitili Tupouniua

Can this be merged - apologies - I missed the other thread - think it's Pacific invitational ??
