Blacktown related info.....Asquith coach from last year Simon Clarke is working in a role with Workers ISP,fullback Jake Pickering(ex touch footballer and played with Asquith in 2017 and Peninsula Seagulls in 2016,Sydney Shield fullback of the year in 2017) is training with Workers.Pat Weisner (sacked former Workers coach)is working with Asquith now and has lured a few Workers players to the club(Jake Samoa,Sione Masima,Kurt Horton,Kelepi and Amanaki Manu).Dean Parata the hooker who had a good role coming off the bench has signed for Barrow in the UK.Asquith for those who don't know are/were a feeder team to the Bears and ultimately Rabbitohs.

Minor news,but Tyran Ott from the Maitland Pickers has signed to play with our SG Ball side for this year.Played last year with the Knights and is a dummy half,one of those young guys from the country areas who are used to playing with the adults(first grade) in the local competition.

The rorters have signed former NRL referee Chris James as their refereeing consultant. I've never heard of him but apparently reffed over 200 games according to Fox. He was sacked by Archer so read into that what you will.
He's probably another dodgy accountant if the truth be known.
Tbh I thought cronk would be the reffing consultant.

In further news a news bulletin during talkin sport said the hayne plain is considering quitting due to the toughness of pre season training.
Hope they talk him into sticking it out so he ends up another one of their dud recruits.
