2018 Rd 5 - Manly v Titans: - Pre-Game Discussion.

I suppose when I advocate going for a safety pin journeyman over a game breaker you may have a point.

I was simply refuting Qldeagles position that to win games you "cant just be safe ". The Broncos are an example of team's winning games by playing "safe"...9-7 over the Tigers without scoring a try.

I do love it when you read my posts, decide their meaning as the complete opposite to my intended, post a meme or two, quote a saying from optimists anonymous, and take the high ground.
Sorry mate I just don't agree with you, playing safe is the worst thing you can do these days. How many times do teams try to defend their lead by playing safe only to see it erode very quickly, ie the Tigers last night.

Very happy with that side. Confident we can get a win.

Our biggest danger is them kicking out to the flanks... which they will most certainly do. We well and truly have them covered in the forwards.

Team looks good despite the injuries JetSki gets a go which is a good move rotate with Winterstein
Darcy might have to earn his spot back see how committed he is in Reggie’s just in case he has spat the dummy that his release didn’t go through

Strange that Turbo is named, maybe Darcy will be swapped in later.

A couple of Clubs have been allowed by the NRL to do so

I think there at be a stipulation that any change is like for like ... I don't know whether you could swap a fullback for a prop .... ??

pretty much as we thought but I hope Dylan is really ready Copley and Hurrell both played pretty well against the Donkies
