Tom has been named at Centre for the game v Lebanon, and Valentime Holmes at fullback. Why you'd have Holmes at FB over Tommy is beyond me, but centre is better than wing.

Holmes is not a centre.
Tommy goes alright at Centre.

Saw an idea last night which I didn't mind, and in the future if stand alone Origin came in for all 3 games

While origin is being played, run 2 tri series with Nz, England, Samoa, Tonga, Fiji and PNG spread across 2 groups

I actually wouldn't mind a SOO series that features a combined South Pacific team with the best from NZ, Fiji, Somoa and Tongo. That would make it interesting, and brutal.

While that would be good.....being serious if there was a Pacific Championship with Australia, NZ, PNG, Tonga, Samoa and Fiji, Australia would still dominate

Whilst I see your point V8, the idea would be to give more experience to these nations in a big tournament to further develop the game.
