I didn't get any notification that Last Fan Standing was on it was only because ALinda told me about it....

We don't send out personal notifications to every tipper. The LFS thread has been up for over a week and everyone was tagged in that so you should have got a notification through that process. We work on the theory that tippers will be on here entering their tips and will keep an eye on the forum.

That makes sense. This is the first time I have ever joined the tipping comp - still new to it all 🙂

I did not get a notification either. Maybe I was not tagged correctly. The only reason I found out about the comp was because I visit Silvertails regularly and noticed the thread.
 
@Rodo check your alert preferences in your user profile to make sure you have receive an alert when someone "mentions you in a message" ticked - like now.

I received this alert. And all alerts are selected in my alert preferences. Strange that I did not get the alert for this comp. And there are no alerts in my alerts list prior to Tuesday.
 
Ok looks like the alert function let me down in the original post. Apologies.

Anyway I've suddenly lost interest in LFS after the Broncos couldn't even get me to first base.
 
Yeah I never seem to get tags when there are multiple tags. Such as this LFS notification and GE weekly tipping updates.

Annnnnd right on cue the broncos lose and ge is out in the first ****ing week...again!!!! lol
 
Ok because of the issue with the tagging of users failing and some people not getting notification I've re-opened the poll for anyone who hasn't put a pick in yet.

Those votes already lodged are listed above so no need for you to vote again if you have already made a pick. This is for anyone who may not have got a vote in before yesterday
