We are also looking to lock up 4-5 young guns. If we were to bring through a few like Demetriou, Parker, Tom, Armstrong, Ramien, Pearsall I could live with that.
I just hope we have a plan.

That is so ridiculous when has a club ever announced intentions to sign a player? so going by your standards Joe will never miss out on a signing.

Joe did make an offer to Tom (and was confident) but to be fair Tom was never interested in signing. So who is Joe going to sign? that's the question not much quality left but I'm sure you wouldn't be critical of him because he hasn't "Officially" announced his recruiting intentions.

Lol desert they didn't lose Tomkins. They released him a year early only after signing RTS. And they had hometown pull. He grew up there and until 3 years ago was still living there. Pretty different situation. Is there a homegrown northern beaches boy ruling the NRL somewhere else that I don't know about?

I don't think any one would defend Joe if he wrote a cheque for $800k a season for a player who was on $400k a season with the Roosters .
Joe will be judged in time but now is not the time as his job is not finished as yet

It depends Bozo sometimes that player is worth 800k to the club. When Whare left us for Penrith he got a lot more than what he was worth to us but Penrith needed him so had to pay overs. Not all deals are the same players are worth different amounts to clubs depending if you need the position filled. I agree give Joe some more time but he needs to land a fish soon as I'm getting hungry.

Personally I don't think paying a player over by $400k a season is a shrewd buy . As for Joe he has a reputation of being a good administrator and he has made many promises and we are all hungry for success and salivating for good things to come and if he does not deliver............ Well may we say "God save the Queen", because nothing will save Joe Kelly !!! 🙂
