A big cheerio to the Stockmen (you know they should be called that), for taking the 'greatest GF finish in history' tag away from Newcastle's 1997 win, with their defeat of the Brumbies (you know they should be called that too).

that is an incredibly tough way to lose a GF for broncos fans....losing after the final siren. You could include the Storm/St George GF as being a forever heartbreaking GF memory for a fan.

I think golden point is harsh in regular season, let alone in a GF. I wish they would change it to at least something like golden try, or playing out the full extra minutes before declaring the decision.

I just did a quick calculation, and Manly have been in Grand Finals in 30% of Grand Finals held in the last sixty years. So almost 1 in 3. No wonder they hate us.🙂

I problem I have with golden pint is that despite the excitement and tension it generates, the extra time is a completely different contest to what the regular time game is about. It becomes extremely one dimensional.
