Justin Horo was treated poorly by Kearney. The kid can play.

Have always rated him highly can't for the life of me work out why he didnt get a run with the eels last year.

I think he was injured a fair bit of the season.

Quite a handy player, but don't know that he'll get much opportunity with Gift and Choc as 80 minute players ahead of him. Maybe he'll take T-Rex's spot leaving Buhrer on bench.

Another super move by the Manly Management was signing the talented youngsters till 2015 yet signing the established NRL players for only 2013 deals, ensuring they will compete strongly to earn a longer contract.

From what I can see we have made smart signings. We haven't gone after the big ticket players as we already have them so no need to get more. We have bought players that will fit into the squad and fill gaps that need filling.

We have some more depth which we lacked this year and we have replaced our losses with steady players. T-Rex is a big loss when he is on, but I think we will be better without him and we tend to have a knack of getting fringe players and making them great.

We have also done something about our aging player ranks. I guess this essentially is the writing on the wall for Kite.

Dont know if I will recognise Manly's lower grade teams in 2013. What's that, 16 new players in the club. Manly's first grade could look very different in a few years, but hopefully as successful. Shame we couldnt get young Milford from Canberra though. He is going to be a very special 5/8. Well done Canberra for holding on to him
