I look forward to itI’ll do my ladder predictor thread soon but I thought we should at least perhaps wait until after a few trials, not that they mean heaps of course.

I'm just looking forward to genuine team lists being named this season and not ducks and drakes that Des used to employAnd a team list Tuesday - woohoo!!
Good ideas thereForwards to rotate loads but Paseka, Aloiai, Sips and Keppie only get about 20 min each with plenty of time for Gordie, Roache, Fainu, Burbo, Condon, Bullemor, Tuilagi, Fulton and Fifita.
In the backs start with the above then after about 30 min go Fletcher Myers and Burbo in the centres.
Give Schuster a good whack, 60 odd minutes...basically rotate him, Johns, Humphries and Latu.
Rest DCE, Garrick, Jake, Croker and Olakau'atu.
Harper with the All Stars and Turbo, Saab, Lawton, Boyle and Tuitavake out injured I think.....
Yeh nah @Jerry1 I see us surprising a lot of teams this year. I have us as finishing 7th but with a bit of luck we could finish higher. This year will be as close to the spoon as we have ever been. Maybe even closer.
I would be surprised if anyone that played in World Cup would play the first trial and I thought Aloiai was still injured?Any trial one predictions?
From Seibs recently sounds like some of the big names wont be there.
Id go
1.Weekes
2.Veaga

6.Schuster
7.Johns
8.Paseka
9.Gordie

Ah @Jerry1 ............every time I see your avatar the following pops into my head:This year will be as close to the spoon as we have ever been. Maybe even closer.
Disagree but only time will tellThis year will be as close to the spoon as we have ever been. Maybe even closer.
Ah yes good point and you may very well be right on AloiaiI would be surprised if anyone that played in World Cup would play the first trial and I thought Aloiai was still injured?
Do wot! Er indoors has more idea about our chances this year. This year will be as close to the spoon as we have ever been. Maybe even closer.
I dont know @robbiea I think we will finish top eight this season. A lot of people are writing off our forwards, but I can see Condon, Tuilagi and Bullemore all stepping up for us this year. Go Manly.I think too many better teams above us this year, not spoon contenders.
But not top eight either.
Hope I'm completely off the mark though !!
Thank god for that.Beyond Manly, the Dolphins have a trial today so footy is officially back
