    When I was a youngster watching rugby league there was a try by Steve Gearin catching a Greg Bretnall bomb on the run that everyone wowed about. I think Garrick’s take to score was better under more pressure today, but it was only the 4th most amazing try that Manly scored in the second half!

    I was one who questioned Keppie’s place in the 17 before this game. Totally wrong call. He played great all game, and had two big plays in defence and attack before our turnaround at the end of the first half. Very happy for his proving me wrong. And I really should never have bet against him.
