    Corey Parker

Some guy on MSE forum is claiming he's heard Corey Parker has been released by the Broncos and is coming to Manly. IMO, load of crap unless Monaghan is leaving. Would be one hell of a pickup though, slot straight into the starting front row with Kite.

The Ox's box of tricks Maybe he could chuck a 5/8 in the box!

    [poll] 5/8 for next year?

He plays a bit of both actually. Originally a 5/8 pushed into lock. He only weighs 92 kilos or something.

    [poll] 5/8 for next year?

We all know who our halfback is going to be next year, who does everyone think should be 5/8?

New section -> comings and Goings

What is with our lower grade recruitment. We never seem to be making any good quality talented signings in Premier League and very few in Flegg. All the other clubs have signed heaps of guys for PL, and from all reports we are shedding all players who aren't first grade material. What...

    PL props

So much talent in the Premier League and Flegg finals, I just wish Manly could sign up a good under 20s side. Looking at the Premier League final, although we made the top 4, you watch our games and no one really looks like they could make it in first grade. The Roosters, Eels, and even the...

    PL props

Bit tough on Rose mate, it seems ever since we we linked to him everyone has done nothing but bag him, writing him off from the word go. He made quality metres in that game and had a pretty bloody good offload. He has very good leg drive in comparison to King and Heckenburg and usually made 4...

Peninsula Trio line up for Fiji

PENINSULA rugby league trio Aaron Groom, Steven Delaivuna and Suli Koroibulileka have all been named in an 18-man Fiji A squad to face Australian Tertiaries in Sydney on Sunday. Sea Eagles Jersey Flegg pair Groom and Koroibulileka were both given the nod, while Valley United prop...

    Has Sean Meaney left?

I just read that over at MSE and came straight here to start a topic. If this is at anyway true I will personally write a letter to the club, despite a few injuries this guy is the kind of kid we need at the club. A great talent, Manly junior, outside back.... what the hell else do you want. He...

From memory we had Origin stars out, Hill out, Kite, King and a few others out and we only lost 40 odd to 20 odd.

My point was that the team still had the ability to put a few wins up, I myself had pretty much lost all confidence, and would never place my hard earned on them. Souths and Sharks were the only two real drubbings IMO of the season. We were beating Newcastle well into the second half and let...

How can you say that Ryan, we beat the Broncos, and had both the Panthers and Cowboys beaten with less than 2 minutes to go. We may have choked on those occasions, but to say we didn't have the ability to beat ANY teams in the last 13 rounds is ridiculous.

    Steve "The Tiger" Roach

Steve "The Tiger" Roach The best guy for the job would be Spud Carroll, Crowe takes up too much of his time though.

    Steve "The Tiger" Roach

Steve "The Tiger" Roach Cement works for the Roosters, but I get your point Ryan. For one of the few times I whole heartedly agree with every word you have said. Roach has not performed as a forwards and defensive coach, he;s the guy who should go.

2006 5/8's - where would YOU rate Monaghan?

2006 5/8's - where would YOU rate Monaghan? And at this stage there are no better options available in the club IMO.

2006 5/8's - where would YOU rate Monaghan?

2006 5/8's - where would YOU rate Monaghan? Agreed his long passing game is pretty poor, mind you his short passing game isn't much better. However he is a pretty handy runner of the ball and long kicker, I suppose hooker may suit him. Although I feel Ballin/Dunley are a good hooker option, IMO...

2006 5/8's - where would YOU rate Monaghan?

2006 5/8's - where would YOU rate Monaghan? Whatever way you put it Monaghan was still playing better footy with someone else there to lead the attack. Why wouldn't we see the same effect from Orford.
