We all know who our halfback is going to be next year, who does everyone think should be 5/8?

No option for none of the above - if this is what we are relying on for 2006 I am very concerned.

    We need a REAL 5/8!!!

Who is Jason Wells ~ better still how good is he?
I still believe Burns is more suited and Monas would be my second choice.
Burns with Monas @ hooker but in saying that alongside Orford either could be made to look good.
We need consistancy not changes like breaking up our great well performed backrow.
Now watch some coach or official stuff us all up
Maybe King is next in line to get a run/strolllll there, fore he aint no prop of distinction ~ Me finks! ;)

Jason Wells is a bloke from Bulldogs P/L we bought, he is a lock forward not 5/8.

I agree with Burns but it would be better to have a more experienced option

He plays a bit of both actually. Originally a 5/8 pushed into lock. He only weighs 92 kilos or something.

If Burns doesn't work, try Witt (could be better with Orford at his side). If Witt doesn't work move Monas to 5/8 and promote Willaimson as hooker.

    I like the sound of:
    6. Burns/ Witt
    7. Orford
    9. Monas
    bench: Dunley

Dunley to come off bench for BURNS/Witt when game drags on and forwards are tired (last 20mins each half), forcing Monas into 5/8.
Dunley is our #1 impact player - LEGEND!

We had Beaver and harris as our 5/8's this year so Wells will fit in well as a 5/8 choice next year if he is a lock.

Manly could do worse than sign Jeremy Smith who was the Parra premier league 5/8 in sunday's grand final.

He looked pretty good for a PL player and apparantly off contract.

Question if we have bought him why does his profile not grace our comings and goings section???????
Not like we have filled the page yet! :?:
