    What i would say is that outside the top3 teams, Manly has the "highest ceiling" of the other teams. i.e Their "best" is better than the other teams "best"

    Reckon Simpkin is more of a 2025 player. He is only 22 and has a good career ahead of him. I could see him getting the number 9 spot next year as Froggy perhaps transitions to another role, or drops out due to injury/concussions.

    It shows you either need the cash (TPA) - Roosters, the coach - Storm or the juniors - Penrith. Hard to genuinely compete without having one of those big advantages.
