If that's the case, we need to hope and pray the rest of league and teams don't improve, because staying the same means regression otherwise.

Well, Humphreys was a rookie, so it's rough including him in the numbers. I do however hope you acknowledge our mistake if al& when he lights it up for Souths. You do have a penchant for claiming any player leaving us is mid, where any player arriving is a world beater. Saw goes for Schuster...

Well, I guess that's it then. Our roster is set. Lost Schuster, Humphreys, Lodge & Lawton, and have acquired: Jazz Tevaga (likely to make the top 17) - slower than Lawton (will take his 12 spot) Michael Chee-Kam (may or may not make the top 17) - could replace Brown maybe? Siosiua Taukeiaho...

Absolutely, and while he develops those skills to a first grade standard, I'm sure Blacktown would enjoy his services. It's like saying, lets make Kiwi Eagle head of ANZ Bank right now, because one day, he might grow into the role and improve. We aren't a charity mate. We need to be ruthless...

Mate, Burbo is a spot defender. That means the opposition focus on him, as he arm grabs, lacks lateral defense, and doesn't move with the defensive line. Calling for Burbo to me, means we are really scraping the bottom of the barrel.

    2025 recruitment & retention

Oooof, he's out of shape compared to where he was....this is where we need him to be (doesn't even look like the same person - has a Sipley / Lodge body shape now):

Win for URM !!! They'd be chuffed.

Luke Brooks - the plate is hot

He has latter experienced & skilled Brett Stewart hands - at 19 !! Skies the limits for this kid. Sign him up VERY long term. The Hopoate's tend to get very itchy feet for whatever reason.

Wow, that is a VERY favorable draw for us ! On so many levels ! Well, there are literally no excuses now here in my mind.

Tolu Koula and Lehi Hopoate should be centres. 01. Tom Trbojevic 02. Jason Saab 03. Tolu Koula 04. Lehi Hopoate 05. Reuben Garrick 06. Luke Brooks 07. DCE What about Tommy Talau people ask? How about in a Karl Lawton role? He's often doing to hard yards hit ups through the middle anyways on...

Offer Sione Fainu $2 grand a week, rather than the $1.2k league minimum. He looked pretty darned good last season in a struggling team. Prop. Young (23). He'll have a point to prove coming home, too. 2 tries in 12 games as a prop is pretty sweet. Averaged 110 metres (could be more with more on...

How so? He was amazing for us. Leading metre maker for many years. I know this goes against most here, but I thought he was a machine.

Luke Brooks - the plate is hot

As everyone knows, I love(d) Schuster - and think he could be ANYTHING. We'll regret this one I feel. I just don't understand how we didn't have the satisfactory support staff to work with him. A FIT Schuster would be MUCH better than any player who may attempt to wear our 12 jersey presently...

Made up for it though I reckon mate. Plus, I felt the whole team laid an egg that night.

Luke Brooks - the plate is hot

Hey mate, I thought he started off on fire last season, had a bit of a lull, but came back towards the end. I agree he needs to play well next year, but what are your thought's in general of his performances last season? Brooks and Talau were VERY much a pleasant surprise ! We also had the 5th...

    So far off the pace

Garrick is great winger. He's still learning playing centre. Do we now have better options at centre (i.e. Talau and / or Hopoate)? Guess that's the question. Is he a good player? Absolutely!

    LOL Tigers

It does actually spin me out - for the past 10 years we've averaged around 10th - 11th, but have always been cap strapped? There's always been periods where bottom tier clubs have a large amount of cap space to spend to turn things around (see Bulldogs). Our recruitment has been diabolical...
