Des's line, "I'm glad he's only got two hamstrings, not three" is gold. He says it's a six- or seven-week turnaround, Grade 2 injury.

I also like Reuben's "The Hurricane" nickname. Guessing Bob Dylan appreciates it, too.

wasn’t the same line used last time with this injury with us not seeing him again.

People do have a right to feel a little cranky about this. It looks like there is a link between his recent nocturnal activities and his latest injury.
I very much doubt there’s anything sinister in this situation and it’s on a completely different level but look what covering up incidents during his playing career has done to Sam Burgess, with more evidence today proving that he was allowed to do whatever he wanted during his League career because he knew others would sweep it under the rug

We don’t know. What I do know however is that he is either very shy in interviews or he has trouble looking people in the eye when he is bull****ting them.

Disappointed he is out running down the street with his known issues. Just perfetic. This club can't afford 2 guys on a million plus. As soon as our cheap guys play good they will be offered money by other clubs that we can't afford.

If you watch the interview Turbo goes to say "as the night went on" but then paused and changed what he was saying. I picked this up before we even knew about the running race. I'd say 100% did it on the piss and not slipping in the bathroom!
Couldn't hear it clearly but thought it was 'just a poker night' (if that's the same bit you're referring to)
From which I gathered that 'Sunday morning' was not necessarily after he'd been asleep and was just getting up.
Could be wrong and not too fussed either way, but disappointing if the club pressured him to spin the injury. I doubt that, but would be absurd if they did.

For any posters in this forum that have an ear to the Manly support staff involved in either rehab or training, the simplest and most elegant solution for Tom is the "glute/ham raise" exercise. This is not easy, but once mastered is considered to be able to "bullet proof your hamstrings".

For a guy with hammy issues to be running on the piss is just stupid! Regardless of how it happened the whole running thing is actually beyond stupidity for Turbo.
Imagine being in the clubs position. Paid a million plus a year and he has had this one injury. Pay to send him to Melbourne I think it was to see specialists, get the best advice money can get which includes USA University consultation. And the player is treating the matter so seriously he is out having running races on the turps.

One can understand the club being more than a little disappointed here.
