if foran goes to the roosters it wont be the end of the world , it will be the beginning of a new signing for us . personally i dont think he made that much of an impact for us this year.

I thought Bozo was a tribute to Fulton, upon viewing this I guess I got that part wrong !!

Gibsey on the John Stanley (2ue) breakfast show gave Manly a blast this morning over non retention of players & no new signings to replace players leaving.

Particularly scathing over JWH going to the rooters.

I think J Gibbs is spot on there is something fishy going on at the moment are we at our cap? or is the financial problems restricing how much we spend? I suspect the latter and with the signings or lack of and the look of next years squad it is nothing to get excited about. When in our history have we entered seasons ( this and next) without a proven first grade halfback, time some tough questions were asked of Hasler Cleal and Lowe

Is Gibbsy involved with the club at all these days? He was one of my all-time favourite players, pity he hurt his leg because until then he was an absolute sensation. I haven't listened to his radio show for a long time, partly because he sounds like he can be a bit of a prat at times.
I think most of us are secretly hoping JWH gets injured or gets bored or something, because he sure does look like a significant loss at this point, and if he keeps improving we just look sillier and sillier.
Of course the Roosters didn't have space for Shillington, so these things do have an amount of guesswork involved.

is everyone going to ramble on about no signings again ? who cares !!! its about the jumiors now ! weve seen what manly can produce now lets go with it, its the firs time in approx 5 years manly havent made any signings, mind you we only made signings to revamp the disaterous Northern Eagles, and then we splurged on a premiership team. Ofcourse we have no room in the cap ! so bring through the jumiours who are more than capable of doing the job !

So no guarantee he will be fit for start ofvnext season? We need to hit the ground running next year but will be in trouble if we are missing Gift, Matai, Snake and Wolf??

Wolfman / Gift are certain starters round one (trials count remember).
Stewart has limited chgance of returning due to the knee.
Matai - the only contentious one....if tri-nations are included, then he's available. If not....round 7 next season - which is a joke...but at least Whare will get an extended run unless Hasler puts T-Rex in the centres, which would be a joke.
