Mate, have to 2 mates who have been at training last week /weekend, he ain't ready, running at 70%. insane to risk him until he stretches out 100% on a number of of training runs not just one. It would be throwing him under the bus. Can understand people suggesting he plays in the centre - less running and less chance of a blow out. Reckon not this game and maybe 2 games away. Does it really matter any more? season is gone. Even Jesus couldn't resurrect the form of some of these players?
@God needs to give him a kick in the arse then!!

I agree , never thought he would.

I assume you have some inside information on that ??

I said before round 1 ( when they said 4 weeks) it would be much more like 8-10 weeks.

Zero knowledge on my behalf but just going on every other injury he has had over the years has taken way longer than the original estimate.
You can just see it dragging out week after week right. I was thinking the same. Gee I hope he’s back this week. Unlikely

If I was picking a team tomorrow and based solely on who I think is available....

Funa we need a specialist fb. Not an insult to Walker who I think has tried hard out of position.

Saab and Parker. I thought Suli was horrible against Penrith and he is out of my team. Saab had to charge out of the line twice in the first half because Suli had been drawn in, and then the ball passed on. Suli is misreading and also not communicating with his winger, Saab is too inexperienced to be forced to make those calls. And what the hell is it with Suli and passing? Saab must wonder what that strange object is that Suli loves and protects so much. There is much more upside in Suli than in Parker as a centre but Suli needs to think about it in reserves. I also thought that when Saab was partnered with Parker in the second half Saab looked a bit more settled.

Walker and Garrick. Walker is a gun centre and that is where he should be. At least then one of our centres understands it is OK to pass to your winger sometimes. We have two gazelles on the wing but because we are Very Very Clever we make sure they never get the ball. Possibly we are worried about their hamstrings.

Foran and DCE. I must credit Foran I was not in favour of bringing him back but I think he is playing and organising well in A and D. DCE looks shot for confidence and belief right now. You guys clock how his head dropped minute 23? He saw how this thing was going. And by "this thing" I mean "2021."

Paseka.
Cust. I like Croker as a person and maybe Des likes him for D. But there is absolutely no doubt Cust is the more dangerous runner and might give us more punch in the middle.
Aloiai. I like this guy he is trying to give us something.
Gosiewski. Seems to be also playing a bit busted for confidence atm but we need a specialist edge forward. Pair him with Foran.
Jurbo. Pair him with DCE to stiffen the right side.
Schuster. With a licence to try some stuff. This guy is to be our long term five eighth he needs the ball in hand

Reserves
Taupau. I think his best work atm is off the bench in defence.
Croker. Can cover almost anywhere except fullback and front row, reasonably if not excitingly.
Keppie. Like this young fellow heaps. He is going to be a very proper first grader.
Sipley. Needs a little luck and time with the ball in his hands, lots of upside there.

Thanks for hearing me out so long!

That would depend on what position Des plays Jesus.

And that will probably mean that we've had one win in an entire calendar year, if that's the case Hasler should hand the clipboard in, the worst Manly team in the seventy years I've been a supporter, totally unacceptable
Honestly , I don’t think we’ll be that bad.

I hope ( expect maybe) that the players will be so sick of being thrashed and booed by their fans that they’ll eventually win a few games.

After all, they are not doing their future value much good just giving up and not having a go are they ??

Want him to get a bit more general fitness as opposed to the hammy itself .Could probably play but with what’s at stake for Des it won’t be this week.

#I love Barrett, Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum. So, if Turbo, Jorge and Guacamole are available as suggested in the tele today ... My team to upset the numbnuts would be ..

Tom
Jorge/Suli
Walker
Parker
Garrick
Foran
DCE
Jake
Guacamole
Schuster
Paseka
Cust
Aloaio

Foran
Marty
Keppie
GoJetSki
#I think Baz is tops. Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum.
I knew it!

If we can't beat them with their two best props in the stands, we are in for a truly horrible season.
Warriors are 1.35 even with them out
Manly 3.00

Unless the bookies see T Trobjevic in black and white they will lay us over the gap - playing away, running last , worst defence in comp

We still looked way outgunned out wide and they will still field a big strong pack.
I give us a bit of hope actually but only because surely they must be hurting enough to have a dig

Yep, and the reported changes give us a glimmer of renewed hope as well. Lose this one and you can stick a fork in us.
