have a trawl back through my posts if you can be bothered and you will find i have said that exact thing a number of times (the lighten up side of things) so i am 100% with you on that.

they closed down over a week ago lets move on ppl..  if you want to welcome the newbies in here start another thread titled welcome all newcomers or some shIIt like that...
just by having the letters  MWSE  in a thread is always going to bring back some of that old banter they had before..

Speaking of blow-ins etc. is it possible to have a date joined under people's post counts. Its nice to see who's been here a long time etc (as opposed to who has no life and just posts a lot).

If you just want to see who has been around for a while, just click "MEMBERS" from the banner next to the big "Submit Article" button and then click "Date Registered" to sort the member joining date.

I didn't actually go looking for it.  After I responded to Corso_Pete's post, I had already remembered about the welcome that Mark got when he joined but couldn't quite remember the welcome that Pete had received.  I thought that it was okay but to check I decided to go back and look at the first thread that he posted in to see what sort of response that he got from the current forum members of that time.  I found that he was happily welcomed but also in that thread was some guy called Philip who gave both you and Kiwi Eagle a bit of lip including through PM's and the response that I posted as deja vu in this thread was right there and I thought that's almost what you had just posted in response to WAMF.
